DIY: Studded Shorts X Alyssa

Nobody wants plain-Jane shorts anymore. In the generation of neon prints, and all things that glimmer, too many pairs of plain, boring shorts piled up in your closet could look very unappealing; so let's take a break from the OOTDs and start DIY-ing! (peace out)

Hopefully after this, you, too will get creative and will do something similar!

Materials Needed:

Shorts (any color, size, or cut will do)

Studs with prongs

Tweezers (optional if martyr ka)

First: Choose/create the stud-formation you'd like to have on your shorts, and decide where you want to put it.
* For my shorts, I decided to go with the popular cross formation on the pockets, to add some edgy feel to my dainty-printed pair.

Second: Lay out the formation on your pair of shorts and get ready for work!

Third: Once you're pleased with the layout, take your tweezers, and use it to push the prongs through the shorts to hold it in place. Be sure to flatten them -- don't want to end up with a sore butt! Hehe.

Fourth: Repeat the third step until you're done.

Yup, that's pretty much all there is to it. I'm genuinely satisfied by how my shorts turned out; I will surely wear this out soon!

Desires confusing, wide-swinging moods, weird movie choices and strange attitudes, periodic piques aligned with the moon and stares that appear with devils attuned. She has no special talent. No special beauty mark. The beauty of hers is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair. It’s in her eyes, the doorway to her heart. It’s not in her facial mode but in her reflected soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives and the passion that she shows.

The only thing that’s pulling her back, is the confidence, where she lacks. But with enough confidence, she’s more than what she is right now— a woman with endless capabilities.

As a graduating student this 2014, she has a lot of dreams for herself in the future, such as modeling, and hosting events. Tiarra is versatile. she is confident. She is golden.

Alyssa Daguro (Ali) loves a good adventure. She is a young, vibrant woman who is currently taking up Medical Technology in the home of the Tamaraws. She is a risk-taker, and never lets an opportunity go to waste; which is why when the chance to put up Style Mixer -- a fashion blog -- showed itself, Ali, although hesitant at first, went for it. She is a person who aims to spark change in others.
